Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
Pick up some cheap Brembo 4 pot calipers for £120.
Now I know why I got them so cheap the pistons were seized
After a lot of hard work I managed to free them and removed them all (4 of them were seized so bad I damaged the pistons getting them out).
I cleaned them up and sanded them down. Then gave them a lick of caliper paint I think they turned out not bad but they do need another coat of paint.
Once I get another coat or 2 on I will fit the new seals and pistons.
Then move on to the front ones Brembo 17z should be a lot easier as they are not seized

Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
Front Brembo calipers complete refurbished
First I use a wire wheel to get all the old paint and crusty bit. Got it back to the metal as much as I could.
Then I primed them with caliper primer
Then finished them off with caliper paint.
Then replaced the rubbers
Had a hard decision to make on the caliper stickers. R32 or Brembo
Went for Brembo to match the rears
If I had found R32 small enough for the rears they probably would said R32 not Brembo

Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
I’ve now gone from this
To this
Finally got them on.
My only concern is the fact that the rear stick out a bit but they don’t catch the door.
