This will be topic my Vw Caddy modification Search and rescue dog van. I belong to a local volunteer search and rescue dog group.
At the back comes the false floor and underneath false floor comes a storage compartment. Behind sliding door become cage for the dog.
The project is progressing slowly due to the winter and the lack of a garage.
I got the carpet and side upholstery installed.
One detail how I fastened gage structure. Nut rivet holes that was there all ready. I still need to at a few attachment points to the partition to support gage roof.
Loki testing new cage. At first Loki was a little confused but after noticing that he can see me while driving seemed quite satisfied. During the exercises, one "lost" person was found in the tractor tire.
Might wanna look into door sound insulation at least. When investing into new speakers I would say it makes a meaningful difference by cutting vibrations there.
Carpet installed at dog gage. I am not 100% pleased whit gage door. In winter gage don't need door but at summer door is handy I can keep car doors open to manage inside temperature.
New to me summer wheels. In my mind I make good deal for these 260€ for tires and rims. Tires have 5-6mm tread and rims are very good contition. Tires/rims are only 2 years old and because Finland you need to use winter tires practicaly 1 year use only.
