BLS oil feed pipe

Post by Hiks »

Are these pretty much universal for the braided kind?

I removed the turbo today and would like to replace the line for the new turbo going in but getting a bit lost with engine codes and if there is any difference between them all. I had a quick look and it seems to be connected just under the oil filter at the front of the engine.

I was thinking of something like this

I replaced some a few times, always a hard pipe like the original. It's a PITA.
Yes, it goes from the top of turbo to oil filter casing, and is supposed to be critical because turbo overheats very easily

Please post your experience if you find a flexi pipe!

Just to bring it full circle I managed to get some time to work on the van today and I fitted this. Everything went well and it was fine.

I'll drop a link to the one I ended up purchasing, not sure if there is a difference between them but the description says PD130 & BV39 turbo so it fit my BLS well.

Is it still running?
Haven't been able to find anything similar yet on the continent - would be great if it works ok, as the oil pipe is a PITA on mine....
