The van came from a local dealer, with the previous owner being a decorator the van was in a right state...

First step as always was to strip everything down and give a good deep clean

It was then onto sound deadening, highly recommend DodoMat, very easy to work with.

For insulation I opted for B&Q recycled bottle and DodoMat Closed Cell.

I then cut down the bulkhead to cover the gaps by the sliding door (these will later be carpeted).

With moving house & a holiday in the alps to climb Mont Blanc progress at first was a little slow...
Chose to pay the extra to get the windows fitted, didn't want the risk of any leaks.

Next on my list was electrics, have been lucky enough to work with Vunked, who made the whole process very easy. Using a 105aH leisure battery, 30a DC-DC charger and solar which I'll come onto in a bit.
Wanted to keep them out of the way, so with some careful planning managed to fit everything behind/ under the passenger rear footwell.

Finished off the roof insulation next.

This weekend was tasked with fitting the solar panel, I saw on a Facebook forum that you could route the cables in via a grommet on the front side of the sliding door, this saved me with drilling any holes (may be a little less aesthetic but works a treat). Opted for a semi flexible solar panel as I may need a roof box for some trips.

Then finally for the progress so far I started on 12mm batons to attach the ply floor down and finished off by insulating in between (my OCD will aluminium tape any gaps tomorrow)...
