Touran doors cards and inserts

Post by ClintK »

Hi all. Brand new to this forum and also to the world of caddy’s.

I have a 2015 swb Highline.

I have purchased Touran door cards and inserts if needed.

My question is my van has electric windows. Will they simply plug into the Touran switches? Or do I need to do something else?

Thanks for taking the time to read.

The Touran drivers door has 4 switches instead of the 2 in the Caddy. (There are rare 2 switch Tourans out there but not many)

Still haven’t done it yet. It’s my next job. I have got a holy grail 2 switch drivers side thingy so hopefully straight swop

If the wiring loom from the door module to the door switches is from a 4 switch panel you’ll need to re wire it to suit the 2 switch panel.

The van should be wired for two switches, not sure if you can keep the original door loom.

The 2 switch Touran door card plugged straight into and worked in my Caddy (including the flashing red lock light) but if it doesn't you can remove the door handle electrics and window switch from the Caddy cards and fit them into the Touran ones. Effectively giving you a Touran door card with Caddy electrics
