I see those, is it just a dark tint in the white bit in the middle or is the whole lens darker? I think it's time vw bring in a fully blinged caddy as they now have a few examples of the spec we want.

Sorry mate. These lists just get longer and longer. Thinking about led in dash board vent ...but I don't want it to look like a boy racers corsa lol. Thoughts on this idea guys

I think you should hold off of the vent idea BH, it's all starting to sound a bit Ripspeed with lights everywhere. Your van looks amazing as it is, don't turn it into a Christmas tree!

is the cig lighter meant to light up around the collar as I don't know what the red plastic is all about looks like a lamp lens any ideas

Yes the cig lighter lights up also it has a tab on the side that lights up the ash tray when you open it. :D

Do you have three wires going to the rear of your cig lighter. The illuminating wire should be the blue wire with the white tracer. If you do then a new vw genuine lighter is only around 14 pounds.

Yep, they look good. Have you done the passenger side yet? I prototyped that one as it was marginally more fiddly. Had to remove a smidge from the LED unit on the cylinder bit where the led plugs into. Can you describe or show how you wired this in as I'll be attempting this when the van comes back and wiring/electrics are not my area of expertise!
