Would you say the newer Caddy is a big step forward (DSG aside) from the older model with the Touran interior swapped in for comfort/refinement on a motorway run?

It's a lot better for the long motorway runs I do back and forth for work, and mountain biking - but that's entirely because of the DSG and aircon
The seats, interior, comfort etc.. are identical
That's good to know, as I've since bought a 2008 van! I'll be making it as pleasant as possible for longer journeys with nicer seats (fitted) and steering wheel (bought, not yet fitted) and a good clean. I think that and the sound deadening should get me to a nice environment!
