I removed the ugly rear wiper and installed the cover.

What's involved in this, are they just bonded on?

We had a painter do a bit of bodywork.

Specifically, a painter and decorator, and his panel hammer was a Berlingo.

Insurance. I'll be pushing for a repair, but I wouldn't be surprised if it gets written off. End of the day, in their eyes, it's a 54-plate with a billion miles on the clock.

Don't get me wrong, 10 years ago, I'd have gone f'n nuts about it. Since then, I've been in an accident that I had no right to walk away from, and as you get older, stuff bothers you less.

All that really matters is no one really got hurt, anything else'll sort. Worst case, the business can afford to buy a new van, I'll buy it off the insurance, take a mallet to it and keep it for my own.

I have used a split charging relay similar to this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REGIUS-SELF- ... =R40&rt=nc worked well for the last 3 years.

Ordered up all filters and oil to treat it to a service following its 1500mile journey last weekend. This van is just so cheap to service compared to the RS4 :D

I found this kit on @Leadhead 's build thread through a search I did https://caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30251

5mtr Pro Medium Duty Split Charge Kit with 12v 140a Durite VSR + Battery Terminals + Fuse Box
http://www.simplysplitcharge.co.uk/stor ... duct_id=75

And picked up this Halfords Leisure Battery 115Ah
https://www.halfords.com/camping-leisur ... tery-115ah

I've stored the battery behind the drivers seat for the minute and it just about fits... I've got a battery box coming from eBay but I might struggle to get the lid on.
I hope to get the kit fitted to the battery this weekend and then look to fit an inverter, possibly 400-800W
