Mk 3 1.6 tdi dsg stockport/Manchester

Is there anyone in Stockport/Manchester that has the above, either mapped or unmapped, would be helpful enough to meet up sometime and compare vans?
It's my first caddy and it is just not running right to me. Tried a touran but it's not exactly the same.
Mine just has no torque whatsoever and I have had a good few mechanics and diagnostics done from vw to back street mappers and there are no faults showing.
Just want to double check I'm not going mad

Anyone out there that can help? Just want to be a passenger in another van and then someone to be a passenger in my van and compare how they run. I will sort you out for fuel money or what have you.

PS they are pretty flat till remapped. Then it’s just very boosty.

Hi ted..im in denton and have a 2011 maxi life dsg with remap .
I bought mine off chris at mvs and had a local guy do it b4 i picked it up..it definately makes a big difference...only thing id be wary of is remapping it under warranty as dsg box is 3k plus to replace at dealers and thats warranty price

Massive thanks to Davy for taking the time to meet up and compare vans a couple of weeks ago, what a top guy.

Seems my van is not too bad, just the way the dsg seems to be, although I still think the clutch may have an issue. The fact I had an injector fail every month for 3 months really didn’t help. It was running awful but now it seems not so bad and I am getting along with it a little better.

Time to start with the mods again. Touran door cards, dash, upgraded clocks and a flappy paddle steering wheel next. As well as painted bumpers, side rail cover, wheels, the list is endless.

I will be after some help down the line, and in turn hope to pass on the knowledge one day.
