Re: Sliding door extra seals
Hi mate. I’ve not heard of anyone doing that to be honest. What’s your reasoning behind it if you don’t mind my asking?

Hi because I believe there's a lot of noise coming from the doors I've got two like you have and no bulkhead back is full of dog cages it's been sound deadened roof sides floor doors

Re: Sliding door extra seals
I see, I had a feeling it may be noise related. I was going to suggest sound deadening, but you’ve already done that.
Have the wheel arches been done? They’re critical. I’ve also sound deadened mine with silent coat but it only makes little difference to be honest. To improve it, you need dodo superliner or similar, and carpet.
Guys I’ve spoken to on here reckon that’s the way forward, it’s what I’m going to do when funds allow

Also forgot to say, if the seals are split or anything, I’d say deffo replace.

It's a 66 plt so seals are fine yes carpet would work a treat probably , but it's a dog van I have enough on just keeping the dust and dog hair under control it's a couple of hours vacuuming washing every weekend without have to vacuum all the carpet in the back

I can imagine mate. I had an A6 avant that had previously transported dogs. I was still finding hairs in the boot 2 years later!

Re: Sliding door extra seals
Sound deadening only does so much. Foam insulation will help massively
