Word of caution

Hi guys, it is with some sadness and a heavy heart that I write these words. However some of you will remember the not so pleasant saga last year of a member that took deposits for custom made bumpers and Touran mirrors etc for our beloved Caddys with sadly no intention of completing the work. His user name on here was barty71 and procad, his real name Simon Barton, and he is on instagram as @simonbarton71.

To this day he still owes me and others a fair bit of money, despite promises after promises to pay the money back (i am aware that some received their refunds).

My reason for bringing this up today is that it was brought to my attention this last week that this individual Simon Barton has done this again and is touting for business via a very good friend of mine who is in the motor accessory business. I have made some more discreet enquiries before posting this today and im sad and quite sickened to verify its validity.

I would most certainly not want this to happen to anyone again, especially members of this fine forum so I feel compelled to write this post today as a STRONG WORD OF CAUTION if you hear of anyone thinking of parting with their hard earned cash to this man.

Sorry to write such an unpleasant post my friends but I feel, having consulted with trusted members and advised accordingly that this needed to be posted.

Wise words Hef. As much as you don’t like to post negative stuff, it’s very important that the word is spread, allowing newer members who may not have seen older posts regarding this to be made aware.
I believe all posts regarding his advertising have been removed from the forum. It’s a shame Simon can still tout for business in other areas of the internet. The more who know of his deceit, the less he can do this.
