First interior modification, new seats out a Golf GT

Post by chris3125 »

After contemplating changing my caddy for a black one i've decided to keep it and modify a few bits to keep me happy, maybe wrap it next year. I'll post up a thread about the build of the van but just wanted to share the seats I just put in today, got them for £90, they are out of a 2010 Golf GT and absolutely immaculate! what a difference they have made for such a small cost.

chuffed to bits :D

cheers or the comments guys, I was just having a look on ebay and some guy was selling the full set, front and backs with a starting price of £100. I emailed him and we agreed on £90 went down the next day, he even offered me the backs as well but I obviously had no use for them and couldn't be bothered with selling them on so politely declined. Hopefully will be getting a few more bits of the same guy to!

Hi mate, seats look great. Do they simply bolt onto the existing sub frame.? :?:

I was told they did by numerous people they did but when it actually came to it they did not. I had to drill a couple of holes and use new nuts and bolts to make them fit. At first I made it alot harder than it needed to be so took ages but after doing the first the second one only took twenty minutes.

Hope this helps
