2012 Caddy alarm siren location
I think the siren's internal battery has gone as it's sounding randomly and won't shut off with the key fob. Anyone know its precise location please as even sticking my head in the engine bay or under the wheel arch I can't find the damn thing?

Found it! Wow, so inaccessible....tucked up behind the wiper motor beneath the windscreen scuttle!

Re: 2012 Caddy alarm siren location
For reference; take off the full-width metal bulkhead beneath the wiper scuttle panel.
You still won't be able to get your hand in though so then you need to pop out the moulded grommet thats slotted into the lower bulkhead section just to the right of the wiper motor. This allows your hand and forearm in!
Using a 10mm socket (and a torch!) undo the two fixing nuts on the metal bracket at the extreme left - which covers the siren and holds it in place. One nut is almost impossible to see and likely covered in leaf-mulch if it's anything like mine was, but you'll feel it poking up on a stud almost straight up from the pedals! The other one is slightly further away on the far left but should be easily seen.
The bracket has just enough room when released to flip over for access to the 13mm nut which holds the siren in place - only needs loosening as its on a slot. Siren unplugs and removes!
