CADDY 2k „Harpagan”

I’m new here. I’m from Poland and I recently bought a 2009 VW Caddy 2K, 1.9 TDI 4Motion!

I want to do a lot of things with this car. Here’s the list:
• repair the bodywork (a lot of rust, but luckily only surface rust – the chassis is healthy),
• swap the PD105 for a PD130 and remap it to around 200hp/450Nm,
• change the front end to the facelift version,
• upgrade the interior.

The purpose of this car is traveling with a roof tent. I want to reach every campsite without worries and drive it all around the world!

Hey,

I started by dismantling some interior parts like the headliner, the ceiling and the trunk floor, as well as some plastic panels. The main reason was to have better access for bodywork repairs and to take care of the initial cleaning.







It’s clear that the car was used as a workhorse. There was a lot of dirt, wood debris, and sand. It has been roughly cleaned, and a proper detailing will be done later.




Additionally, I bought repair panels for the sills and rear fenders. The front also needs some work, but I’m not worried about it for now, since we’ll be replacing it with parts from lift version. Does the front from the Caddy 4 fit?

The Caddy 4 parts will fit though you will need new wing tips.
Also the drivers and passenger doors are different.

I know lots of people on here have updated the front end. I have a MK4 but think the previous versions looked good too.
