Sometimes posts go dead very quick and unresolved ....
Sometimes nothing for 2years till someone else posts up something about same thing which prompts a reply ...
It's not always a success story I'm afraid

There is definitely more info than that available, otherwise I couldn't have carried out this mod on my van which didn't have any AC. There is to much info to post in the Caddy Chat section, its a lot of posts and comments to read over and besides its against form rules to do so.

It was a message of doc himself. I have a 2019 caddy maxi which has ac but no climatronic. It has everything you can think of but highline maxi‘s are pretty rare and expensive. And just for the sake of climatronic i don‘t want to overpay. I am still looking to retrofit front sensors and park assist on it but i can manage that. Climatronic is a different story though so a bi TV of a helping hand would be very apreciated.

If its any consolation iv been waiting since last december to get full access. Looks like doc has done a runner. Surely there must be sumbody on here that knows him personally and could give us a heads up as to whats happening??

On a positive note the form had its most users ever online which was 8199 on Mon Jun 09, 2025 10:00 am. So to me it looks like the form is still going strong. Like everyone else I wish DOC was around as the forum is not the same without him.

Nothing much to say really
We can only do the usual stuff like approving the new member posts, removing the spam, dodgy links and fishing posts (which can be a lot sometimes and normal users don't see them) and in general keeping the forum clean.
But unfortunately we cannot upgrade users to the higher access level, simply because we do not have that level of admin access.
It is what it is at the moment
