I took my seats out today to change them over to Audi A3 S line.
I found out that I don’t have airbags in the the seats.
The Audi seats have airbags and also seatbelt sensors.
should I just leave them unplugged and everything will be ok
Should I get someone to wire them in. Is it a lot of work to wire them in because of all the sensors.

Re: Airbags
I switched seats in my 07 Caddy with Golf seats and tied off the wiring for the airbags. You should have a sensor for your seatbelt stalks though?

Re: Airbags
To wire in the seat airbags is a big job, as well as the looms you’d need the correct airbag controllers etc and they would need to be compatible with your existing modules etc
Just leave them is my advise, the caddy comes without them so no required etc

Re: Airbags
You should be completely okay mate. I removed standard caddy seats out of my 2005 and replaced them with 2015 A3 Sline seats. That had plugs/connectors on it and I never plugged them into anything.
