Hi all,
Looking at getting my next caddy, mk4, very excited.
Wanting to get the 2.0 TDI and wouldn’t mind peoples advice on transmission options. I do want to do power upgrades so will I be better off getting an auto? As I’ve heard the 5 spd manuals are made of jelly. But saying that I would prefer a manual
Thanks
Mk4 transmission

Re: Mk4 transmission
I would say 100%, if you intend to add lots of power and use it, get a six speed manual or DSG. Everything is a lot stronger on them over the 5 speed.
